Riviera Pools Heaters keep water warm year round

Heaters

There are three types of heaters available for residential swimming pools so you can keep your water warm year round. There will be times throughout the year when you want to swim but the water is too cold (yes, even in Tampa). Water temperature is in your control with some of the heaters that are on the market. Gas heaters will heat quickly and are typically used for pool/spa combinations. We provide the Sta Rite's Max-E-Therm's gas heater. This heater is one of the most energy efficient heaters on the market.  It also has better water flow that its competitors.  If you want to heat your pool or spa quickly and energy efficiently, this is the best eco-friendly heater for you.

Heat pumps heat slower but are more efficient than gas heaters.  Pentair makes a great, high performance heat pump called the Ultra Temp It is another part of their Eco Select Brand and is known for its efficiency. It also features an auto-set function. This will monitor water temperature changes which can turn the pump on and off when needed. Most spa owners want their spa heated quickly, therefore we suggest that heat pumps are best suited for pool only applications. We recommend using a solar blanket on the pool to reduce the heat loss or you can purchase a gas heater to heat both your pool and spa.

Solar heat is a very effective way to extend your swimming season without the added expense of electricity or gas.  While solar heat won't give you "all-year" swimming, it sure beats that hefty electric or gas bill. This is the most eco-friendly way to heat your pool. There is no need to be burning fossil fuels or paying heat and electricity bill on top of your pool maintenance. This option will allow you to harness the energy of the sun in order to heat your poo. Riviera Pools offers solar heaters by Solar Hydronics Corporation.

What will work best for you depends on what part of the year you will be heating, how often you will want to heat and how long you intend on staying in your home.  Ask one of our qualified design professionals to take a look at your particular situation.  They can give you a good recommendation.
